A new onboarding e-learning course now in use – all station operators must complete the course before ordering an ID card

A new onboarding e-learning course has been created for Helsinki Central Railway Station. The course brings together the station’s key rules, safety instructions and day-to-day operating practices. It is intended for all tenants and their employees working at the station.

The goal of the course is to ensure that everyone working at the station understands the special character of this protected historical building, the station’s safety and environmental practices, and the basic principles for working in Finland’s busiest public building.

The course is available immediately and must be completed before an ID card can be ordered. The ID card also grants access to station neighbour discounts.

How to complete the onboarding course:

  1. Go to:
    ???? https://register.gimletlms.com/vrgroup/?unit=VRGROUP&role=PAARAUTATIEASEMA

  2. Fill in the registration form:
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Company name
  • VR contact person: Property Manager Susanna Mehtonen
  • Accept the data protection policy
  1. You will receive a login link by email.

  2. Complete the course – you can choose either the Finnish or English version by selecting the language.

  3. Once completed, you will receive a certificate of completion, which you can download or email to yourself. The completion data is also stored in the system.

  4. Send your certificate together with a close-up facial photo (good lighting and a phone camera is sufficient) to the station’s service advisor: palveluneuvoja@asema.fi

The service advisors collect this information for ID card issuance.

  5. Please ensure that your staff are instructed to request intranet access and complete the onboarding course.
You may also share the registration link directly with your employees:

Completing the onboarding is part of our shared operating principles and a prerequisite for receiving an ID card.

If you or your staff don’t have intranet access:

Request personal login credentials by emailing the station’s service advisor at palveluneuvoja@asema.fi, providing the following:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address

Alternatively, your employees can contact the service advisor directly to receive their own credentials.

Thank you for your cooperation!
